Nickel Alloy Round Bars - Alloy 600 / 601 for engineering applications.

Alloy 600 / 601  is a popular engineering material for applications where resistance to heath and corrosion are required. It has excellent mechanical properties, with high strength and workability.

Corrosion resistance is especially good and the alloy can be used in cryogenic as well as high-temperature environments. This alloy is particularly resistant to chlorine and hydrogen chloride attacks even at high temperatures - up to 650 C.

The alloy has an excellent toughness sub-zero temperatures and can be joined via standard resistance / fusion welding processes used for stainless steels.

Typical applications include: heat exchangers, furnaces, exhaust liner for aircraft, nuclear reactor contents, production of caustic alkalis, condensers, evaporator tubes, etc.
